March 8, 2011 ~ Sixteen years ago today, my precious little girl graced us with her presence. This world would not have been a better place without Marisa in it. I would not been a better person without her.
Marisa often asked who she was more like, her dad or me. She is a reflection of all that is good from both me and her dad but most of all, she is her own person. I have always encouraged Marisa to never be afraid to speak her mind and her voice can make a difference. She definitely has a voice.
My dear Marisa, you are so amazing and I am so proud of you. You must know that you are your dad's shinning star. You are your brother's biggest love and you are my best hope for the future. I love you!
